In celebration of the new year, Alliance Francaise organized the first Color Me Rad event in Africa. The festival is based on the Hindu Festival of Colors. It’s a fun race that involves a five kilometre run where colors are splashed on the participants at every kilometre.
The Color Me Rad event started at Bar Beach in Lagos and ended at Freedom Park on the 31st of January 2016. As a climax to the event, there was a mini concert at Freedom Park. The Concert had in attendance, Ras Kimono, Lagbaja and Seun Kuti.
